Welcome to the waterlions Swimming Club. The waterlions Swimming Club provides professional competition training for boys & girls of all ages. We endeavour to provide an encouraging environment to grow the skills of the competitive swimmer. The Waterlions Swimming Club supports and welcomes swimmers with disabilities and provides an unbiased entrance to swimming growth opportunities.
The Waterlions Swimming Club is a registered swimming club with Swimming Victoria which is the governing body of swimming in Victoria. All swimmers are required to become members of the Waterlions Swimming Club.
The Waterlions Swimming Club trains at the Haileybury College, Keysborough campus. All training sessions are conducted by proficient swimming coaches under the direction of head coach Wayne Lawes. You do not need to be a student of Haileybury College to be a member of the Waterlions Swimming Club. Our athletes come from a varied backgrounds, schools and locations. The squads are structured around the competence levels of it swimming members. This makes sure every swimmer is exposed to suitable instruction methods and skills gaining progression for their ability.
