The Waterlions Swimming Club operates in accordance with its constitution. The executive committee consists of the President, the Vice President, the Secretary, the Treasurer and Head Coach. The general committee consist of nine members and the club administrator. The Executive committee meet on a monthly basis whilst the general committee meet bi-monthly.

The committee assists with the running of events and functions, such as swim meets, club nights, presentation evenings, fundraising events and social activities to support the swimmers. Parents also help in Team Manager Roles at various swim meets the club attends whether it's local, regional, interstate or international. The club welcomes volunteers to assist were possible.
The Waterlions Swimming Club's coaching team is guided by head Coach Wayne Lawes who drives the direction of the swimming program and ensures all swimmers receive professional coaching of a high standard that will give every swimmer the opportunity to progress through the appropriate squads of the Club.
